While heading to Utrecht Centraal for a day trip to Amersfoort, we had time to have a quick look around the station. Locating the cycle parking gave use the opportunity to try out the new Moreelsebrug pedestrian/cycle bridge over the back of the station. On our final full day in Utrecht, we decided on a trip to De Haar Castle, taking quite a roundabout route via Gunterstein castle. As of 18 April 2017, work has commenced on phase 1 of Trafford Council’s Stretford public realm scheme. The scheme will see the closure of three of the four subways and will add an additional right turn lane onto Edge Lane for motor traffic. Further details in this post from July 2016.
