On the weekend of 6-8 May 2016, the Spin bike show and cycling festival took place at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. Like many, I was able to take advantage of some of the voucher codes doing the rounds to get free entry.

On a glorious Sunday in May, we headed out for a ride down the Bridgewater Way and Trans Pennine Trail. Two families, four kids and eight bikes, we made our way from Stretford towards Lymm.

Bit of a non-cycling post this one, though still Greater Manchester transport related. The Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester is a bit of a hidden gem. Being out at the Queens Road bus depot in Cheetham Hill, it’s a bit off the typical tourist map, though you do see the odd tourist who makes the trip out of the city centre.
I’ve had opportunity to spend a reasonable amount of time in London over the years, though I’ve never lived there permanently. I’ve only previously cycled in London once as part of a Fat Tire Bike Tour, so I can’t say I’ve really experienced riding in London properly.
