It’s been a while since I’ve been to Manchester Critical Mass, close to two years now. Numbers had dropped off in recent years and it got a bit disheartening turning up.

After seeing what looked like a decent turnout last month and with some decent weather for the evening, I decided to head down again. It was good to see people out for Critical Mass, and two sound systems too, which added to the ride!

A pretty noticeable difference since I was last at Critical Mass was cycling along Deansgate since the recent improvements for cycling. In the past, we’d often get stuck in gridlocked traffic along there, whereas now, we just sailed along!
